Lee Burridge, leader of the iconic All Day I Dream imprint and international party series, has announced a new project with Belgian artist Lost Desert. They’ll release a new album, Melt, on July 19th.
Melt is Burridge’s first complete body of work, even though Lee has been quite the leader in the house music world for almost . three decades. Its ultimate goal—which comes as no surprise with Burridge as one of the collaborators—is to take listeners on a journey through sentimental landscapes, through warmth, beauty, and sadness. This seven-track release will come from Lee’s All Day I Dream label.
Burridge explained the album’s intentions further by saying:
Melt hopes to create a connection. With it. With others. We both feel that musical music evokes a special kind of magic that instills itself deep in your soul. If you truly connect with it it stays with you forever. It marks a moment or moments that you shared with it and with others on your journey through life . This was one of our motivations when we wrote each track and the album as a full storytelling experience.”
The first single, released just last week, is titled “Mibale.” It features ethereal, deep house vibes and touching vocals from Junior. You can stream “Mibale” below, and keep an eye out for the full album when it releases next month.
