With a number of collaborations to his name, Dzeko now paired up with Goldman Sachs‘ CEO David Solomon (DJ D-Sol) for ‘Down On It‘ featuring Kool & The Gang. In essence, the track spins a modern electronic take on Kool & The Gang’s classic funky ‘Get Down On It‘.
Dzeko and DJ D-Sol kick off the track with a glitchy and melodic instrumental introducing some funky elements. From that point on, it adds layers peaking into the grated and groovy bassline which the production seems centered around. Dying down, the track starts building back into its element with a fuller body. Finally, this builds into the bassline hooking again into the bread and butter of the track.
Dzeko certainly gained some exposure through the duo which he departed from alongside Torres. Since then, the producer took his talents into different directions with many collaboration. Working with the likes of Tiësto, Dimitri Vangelis, and Post Malone (to name a few), Dzeko has gained serious momentum, all building to this release with DJ D-Sol today.
