Nitti Gritti and Party Favor are teaming up for a new collaborative duo named ‘Sidepiece‘. They also just released a track in their new moniker and it’s a standout piece. Making their debut at Diplo’s Higher Ground party in Brooklyn this weekend, here is their story.
The term typically means someone you have on the side of your main partner in crime. However, for the two artists, it means a musical fling that both of you can enjoy instead.
‘Wanna See You’ is a bouncy house track with contagious energy from beginning to end. The bass line drives the song forward. From hi-hats to laser sounds, it gives off the perfect vibe for Diplo’s newest label, Higher Ground. Turn your speakers up and put on your dancing shoes. This track is going to be hot.
It is premiering exclusively on Billboard Dance and on Insomniac Records‘ In/Rotation imprint. Additionally, it is tech house gold, showcasing a different take of stylings from both LA and Miami based producers.

Sidepiece will make their live debut at the Brooklyn Mirage this Sunday, September 22. The lineup also features Walker & Royce, Paul Woolford, Huxley, Golf Clap and more. With a history of releases on Mad Decent for both guys, it’s going to be one great party.
