Last Saturday, Armin van Buuren played at Amsterdam Music Festival. We were there to cover the event, and we are here to tell you about one important little nugget Armin dropped on stage.
The one hour set was absolutely a blast for the 40,000 people at Johan Cruyff Arena. By the end of the performance, mysterious messages were displayed on the screen of the DJ booth.
These screens didn’t last very long but they got us already wondering about what the Trance legend has in store for his fans. When visiting the mentioned website today, we can’t find any further news regarding the type of announcement. What we know is that it is going to be a big one and it’s gonna happen on Friday the 22nd of November.
Our guess is that it is going to be another “Armin Only: Balance” event coming soon, but we can only be unsure until we know in one month.
Armin van Buuren is a well-oiled trance machine. While his musical style may evolve, he remains predictable on the whole. He will hold his ASOT anniversary kickoff event in Utrecht every February. He will release an album and then embark on an Armin Only tour to promote that album. Since Balance launches this Friday, an Armin Only show can’t be far off.
