Every year, bass heads from near and far head to Legend Valley, in Thornville, Ohio for Excision‘s own curated festival, Lost Lands. The festival was started in 2017, and has returned bigger and better every year since. When you take into account the vast amounts of rising bass producers, the spawning of new genres, and insane b2b sets, it’s easy to see why. Excision just shared his 2 hour set from the festival, and it is out of this world.
Lost Lands 2019 featured numerous epic sets from A-List bass producers such as KAYZO, 12th Planet, Subtronics, and more. In addition to this, 2019 saw some b2b’s take place that could make any bass-head squeal in excitement. The Excision b2b Illenium set is the first one that comes to mind. You can even throw the Slander b2b Spag Heddy in there as well.
As great as all of these sets are, they don’t even come close to taking the cake as far as the best set goes. I’m sure all would agree that one of, if not the best set all weekend was Excision‘s epic 2 hour set. It makes sense, after all, this is his music festival.
In the modern day & age, it’s not as common for a DJ to play a 2 hour set at a festival like this – much less a bass/dubstep DJ. Luckily, for all those in attendance, Excision has the discography to do just that.
