Today, French DJ/Producer David Guetta released his brand new collab ‘Jump’. The track is a collaboration between Guetta and Dutch duo GLOWINTHEDARK.
The track contains throwback feelings, from the cover to the vocals. It then induces the listener to a more upbeat, danceful rhythm. GLOWINTHEDARK’s hard afro-beats can be easily found, and the hand of Guetta can be easily spotted as well. In a musical industry currently dominated by Latin rhythms, it is refreshing to see DJs adapt their sound. Certainly, Guetta knows how to keep it fresh on the dancefloor.
‘Jump’ comes amidst a very successful year for David Guetta. Remixing Avicii’s biggest hit, dropping a star-studded collab with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and dropping tracks that have been remixed all over the place are just some of his biggest accomplishments in 2019.
Considered one of the biggest DJs in history, Guetta continues to amaze us. Undoubtedly, and, to sum it up at age 51, one of the two DJs responsible for tuning EDM into such a big genre plans to continue doing what he loves for a long time.
