deadmau5 has been a Tesla owner since 2015 and is currently one of the few people to have tried out the Tesla Semi. Unveiled in 2017, the Tesla prototype is an all electric powered semi-truck. Tesla brags about its fuel savings and low energy consumption. It has a quick acceleration that goes from 0-60 in 20 seconds when fully loaded and it also features enhanced autopilot. The truck is scheduled to be in production in 2020 but may face delay due to the Model Y Tesla. The DJ posted a photo, hinting that this Tesla would be awesome to use as a tour bus in the future.
Using the Tesla Semi as a tour bus would be great for the environment, and it certainly is doable. The vehicle can take on 80k lbs which means it can haul all tour equipment. So, a mobile studio can definitely fit in the back as well. The cost saved on fuel by the vehicle will cut down on costs. Therefore, this may change the future of the tour industry.
