Grum – Tomorrow

Grum – Tomorrow

Following the announcement of the revival of Deep State, Graeme Shepherd, aka Grum, has released another taste of what is to come on this forthcoming album. The first broadcast of the upcoming L.P. was the hauntingly beautiful track ‘Stay’ which was featured on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats Volume 14 mix compilation. Anjunabeats has now revealed the second song to showcase Grum’s eclectic album. ‘Tomorrow’ effortlessly reflects Grums ability to blend dark progressive sounds with immersive vocal pop. The ethereal vocals blanket over a deep synth, providing intricate layers to the bassline of the track. This particular sound feels like a throwback to the ’80s. The lyrics also seem to portray the unsettling feeling of mundane life.

‘Tomorrow’ is available to listen now, while Deep State arrives on CD and signed vinyl formats November 8. However, Deep State is available to pre-order now via the Anjuna Music Store.

Additionally, Grum embarks on the Deep State Rewired tour throughout the end of the year and into 2020. The tour kicks off with an album launch party at Steelyard London on November 1. You can view the full list of tour dates here. Soon, additional world-wide tour dates will also be announced.
