If you don’t know, the Latin Grammy’s took place last night on November 14, 2020. This event showcases the best of Latin music and included performances from Vicente Fernandez, Alicia Keys, and Bad Bunny.
You’re probably wondering what a reggaetón artist has to do with EDM. Well, Bad Bunny actually collaborated with Diplo and Nitti Gritti on his latest album, ‘X 100PRE’. Sure enough, Bad Bunny took home the award for Best Urban Album. Along with this, Diplo and Nitti Gritti also win Grammy awards for their contributions to the song ‘200 MPH‘.
Awards like these really validate the influence that dance music has in mainstream culture. Remember, your favorite pop song is most likely produced by somebody with their own career in dance music. So, congratulations to all three artists. This is well deserved and the only way is up from here.
