Just outside of Orlando sits Tinker Field, home to the annual Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando event. The weekend has just wrapped up, and we saw quite a few changes this time around. In its 9th consecutive year, the festival expanded to three days and featured four stages. So far, we’ve seen many attendees review this weekend as one of the best thus far. The production was astounding and sound at each stage was perfectly tuned. For all 225,000 people in attendance (an increase from the 110,000 in 2018) the travel and planning were worth it.
It has also been reported that Orlando’s economy has greatly benefited from the festival as well. The city will be greatly impacted by the $50 million spent by attendees. Insomniac will also donate $60,000 to Strengthen Orlando, a nonprofit that helps provide funding for municipal purposes and projects around the city.
And now, those who were not able to attend feel some of the benefits of this weekend! Just two days after the event concluded, we’re seeing sets from some of the 160+ artists uploaded across the web for us to enjoy. Listen to what we’ve found so far below – enjoy!
