Flume is on a roll lately! Earlier this morning, the 2020 Grammy nominations were released. Now he’s set to play Ultra 2020.
Harley Streten, aka Flume, has been creating beautiful pieces in the electronic dance world since 2012 and, today, he was nominated for his first Grammy for Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape).
Last week, Flume debuted the video for his latest single “Rushing Back” featuring Vera Blue. The track, since 2018, has debuted #12 on the U.S. Dance/Electronic chart and has streamed more than 18 million times to date.
What is next for the Australian? It has been confirmed that he will be one of the headliners for 2020 Ultra! Coming off of sets at Lollapalooza and Listen Out this summer, it’s sure to be one of the most memorable sets at next year’s festival.
With this confirmed announcement, could the Ultra lineup be dropping soon? This lineup “leak” means the full drop is gonna be coming any day now and that’s earlier than usual for Ultra.
The full nominees Best Dance/Electronic Album category are: LP5 (Apparent), The Chemical Brothers (No Geography), Flume (Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape), Rüfüs Du Sol (Solace), and Tycho (Weather) are all going to be on the ballot.
