Diplo Takes Us Down Memory Lane With Best of the Decade Mix on BBC

Diplo is ringing in the new year with the release of his Best of the Decade Mix on BBC Radio. With just a few days left of 2019, you can now listen to his 2-hour selection of tunes to recap the best moments of the 2010s.

Amongst the numerous artists that have left their mark on this decade, there aren’t many that have done it better than Diplo. Also known as Thomas Pentz, the artist has taken his Mad Decent record label to meteoric heights spanning worldwide acclaim. Additionally, his impact on the dance music scene on the production front is just as profound. Aside from his personal career as Diplo, he was also frontman of Major Lazer and was a part of the Grammy-winning duo Jack Ü, which might see a return next year. We also can’t forget his involvement with mega-group LSD and Silk City with Mark Ronson. His participation in all of these groups have secured him countless music awards and nominations.

Diplo takes us down memory lane with this decade mix. David Guetta’s ‘Titanium’, Avicii’s ‘Levels’, and Skrillex’s ‘Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites’ are among the many decade defining tracks in the mix. He’s also curated tracks from Dj Snake, Zedd, Calvin Harris and more. See the full tracklist here.

Without further ado, listen to the decade mix below and reminisce of all those memories these tracks have given us over the years.
