It has become a bit boring to be a Swedish House Mafia fan lately. After a somewhat lackluster 2019 world tour that included a number of cancelations and missed opportunities, the trio went silent again. Then the last thing they did was hype up a big announcement. Thus it turned out to be just a special lifetime pass. Since then, SHM has been totally quite with no shows or announcements.
Out of nowhere, the trio was announced to perform at Diriya Season in Saudi Arabia. Diriya Season is a set of international sports and entertainment events at a UNESCO heritage site in the birthplace of the Saudi Kingdom. The show is set to take place on December 14 and was announced officially by LiveNation.
Will this be the trio’s final show of 2019 or is there anything else in store? Well, we aren’t sure at this point but we are surprised to see this show announcement at all. Then again, if you assume the trio reunited for a big payday this makes perfect sense.
