We knew February would be Claude VonStroke’s month. This morning, we’ve finally learned all of the events that Dirtybird Records is throwing down this summer. Let us breakout down for you for the 15th birthday of this label!
For all our Miami readers, on March 20, Club Space will be invaded by the Dirtybird Players. Even if you’re just hearing about this venue, every event that always stops there is always an amazing time. For a minimum of 18 hours, the Miami Music Week event will surely showcase some new tracks from the upcoming LP, Freaks & Beaks.
Following the Miami event, Los Angeles Exposition Park will be hosting the brand-new Birdhouse Festival on May 9 and 10. The two-day open-air party will feature food, games, performers, and music!
Dirtybird BBQ is also making its annual comeback. Throughout the summer, the series will be touring around to 5 of the top-voted locations. You can expect to see them at Bay Area (May 2), Atlanta (May 30), Denver (June 6), Brooklyn (June 21), and Seattle (August 22). As always, delicious food will be served and there may be some surprises for this year!
The East Coast will be getting the love from Dirtybird this year as well. The label has announced its new festival, CampINN. Set for September 4-7, Claude and his fellow camp counselors will be infiltrating Orlando, Florida. The event, happening over Labor Day, will be taking over an entire resort – a much-awaited replacement for their previous Dirtybird Campout East. It will be easy to run back to the room since it will be steps away from the dancefloor (not like you’d want to ever leave anyway).
Lastly, the favorite Dirtybird Campout West returns to California at the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds, kicking off on October 1st. This event sells out quickly, so we’d highly recommend that you start planning with your crew ASAP.
