Ever since its inauguration in 2008, Wet Republic Ultra Pool at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas has become one of the must-visit venues in the city. Its impressive longevity in the daylife scene is largely due to the venue’s dedication towards creating memorable pool party experiences for its guests at the highest level. And now to further develop the experience for patrons, Hakkasan Group has announced a multi-million dollar venue makeover.

To spearhead the massive project, Rockwell Group will be in charge of remodeling the venue’s architectural design and audio-visual production. By taking advantage of the existing layout, the revamp will deliver a new stage, two plunge pools, better viewing angles for patrons, and additional features to top off the experience.

Derek Silberstein, executive vice president of nightlife for Hakkasan Group had this to say in a press release:

“Wet Republic is a renowned daylife leader not only in Las Vegas, but around the world, “Our reputation is anchored by crafting remarkable experiences for our guests and the revamp of Wet Republic and its impressive new offerings allows us to continue to do so on an unprecedented level.”

Besides the exterior renovations done on the venue, the audio-visual production will be undergoing a massive upgrade. A new custom DJ booth will allow for an optimal viewing experience for crowds to see their favorite artists. Audiotek’s 4000 sq ft display and 13 ft interactive cube will take center stage. State of the art visual technology that is not offered at any other dayclub will also be making a splash at the venue. To further bolster and stimulate the overall sensory experience, the renowned L-Acoustics Kara and ARCS II speakers are part of the upgrade. These premier speakers are the ones found in nightclubs like OMNIA and festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland.

For those that fancy the perks VIP access provides, two new plunge pools offer more than enough space to splash around to while the music is playing. An additional 12 bungalows are being built as well to offer the perfect spot to relax under the Vegas heat.

If any of these new features haven’t already piqued your interest, Tiësto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, ILLENIUM, and more artists will be spinning the decks of the revamped venue. Tickets go on sale on February 4 on Wet Republic’s website here.
