The streaming giant went so far to consult with “experts in the pet industry”. The experts were hired to develop these algorithms for animal friendly playlists.
While music for pets isn’t an exact science, we consulted with experts in the pet industry for the best approximation for what might work best for our featured animals. Incidentally, we only use the information you provide us to create your Pet Playlist. The information is not stored and is not used for any other purpose.
Furthermore, the pet playlists will be about 30 tracks each. While they are algorithmically curated, they are personalized based on your pet. Specifically, after you fill out preferences for your dog, cat, iguana, hamster or bird, the playlist is populated for you both to enjoy.
