In a world of constant change, it’s all about upgrades and staying relevant. Excision clearly knows this, having unveiled The Evolution, an epic stage production in the 2020 edition of The Thunderdome last week. Promised to be a “brand new audiovisual experience,” Excision definitely delivered, introducing epic lasers and stunningly clear visuals to his already impressive stage design. In the video shared by YouTuber [DL] Ghosty, the impressive X-shaped stage is brought to life with the sheer number of LED panels and lasers, bringing a magical sense of omnipresence to the production. Enhanced with the heart-shuddering sounds of D&B and dubstep, The Evolution is another nod to Abel’s creative vision.
It seems like just yesterday when Excision had unveiled The Paradox, but in fact, it’s already been four years. And before that, The Executioner had come along in early 2013. Over this time, Abel had really created a name for himself, with his alias now almost synonymous with Lost Lands and Bass Canyon.
This comes just after Excision had announced yet another new show dubbed RUMBLE, also to feature The Evolution stage. The two-day festival will take place on April 4 and 5 at the National Orange Show (NOS) Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Grab your tickets now!
