As of today, streaming is the king of EDM. Hundreds of DJs and thousands of fans come together to share and experience music trough their screens daily. From the smallest bedroom producer to the biggest DJ, everyone’s live streaming. Even big festivals and companies, such as Ultra and Insomniac are jumping on the streaming train. Now, one of the biggest online music stores is set to join the experience as well. Beatport is set to host a 24-hour stream marathon. The festival will take place as a partnership with Twitch, who will transmit the whole event. The event will be called Reconnect.
As announced today, starting this Friday, Beatport will be hosting a 24-hour stream marathon featuring a stacked lineup trough Twitch. Carl Cox, Griz, A-Trak, and Rüfüs Du Sol are just some of the names in this amazing lineup. You can check the actual Facebook event here!
However, there’s more to this! All donations raised from this event will go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO and the Association for Electronic Music’s.
