In a new world of social distancing, many companies are stepping up big time (and others, not so much). Moog and Korg are helping keep you occupied during these tough times while you’re stuck at home. Both have made their synth apps free to keep you occupied. The iOS versions of the Minimoog Model D and the Korg Kaossilator can now be downloaded free of charge.
Moog has waived charges for its Minimoog Model D iOS app for iPhone and iPad. The app was initially released in 2018. It captures the original circuitry and look of the influential Minimoog, which was first released in the 70s. You can download it here.
The coronavirus is continuing to wreak havoc on the markets, music festivals and humanity in general. Many companies are being forced to adapt. Both Google and Apple offices are reportedly remaining open, while allowing employees to work remote. Google even went so far as to say it would give its hourly workers regular pay if they had to miss work due to coronavirus.
Stay tuned for more updates around the coronavirus. In the meantime, go explore those apps!
