Amidst all the Ultra news that happened today, some good news emerged for Movement Music Festival! The Detroit-based techno festival has announced the daily lineups for the Memorial Day weekend event. And each day is beyond stacked. It doesn’t hurt that the entire lineup is incredible.
Saturday, May 23rd
On Saturday, the festival will welcome some heavy hitters on the first day. To start, fan-favorite Boris Brejcha, Maceo Plex, and Underworld will be at the Movement stage. At the legendary Underground stage, Chicagoan Hiroko Yamamura is bringing her fiery talents to the dark world. Legend Stacey Pullen will be at Star Gate and the Pyramid stage will be completely taken over by the Dirtybird. This year, the label is celebrating its 15th anniversary and they’re going to throw the best party.
Sunday, May 24th
Next up, on Sunday, Adam Beyer will be at the Movement stage. For the Underground stage, 999999999 (pronounced 9 by 9) is a huge treat for attendees, especially as a live show. Lastly, many will be running over to A$AP Ferg. The popular rapper will be at the Red Bull stage, most likely closing the day out.
Monday, May 25th
And finally, before the weekend comes to an official close, the final day of Movement will leave us smiling as we all exit the gates. Right away, Richie Hawtin at the Underground stage is going to be heavily sought after. Local favorite DJ Minx is at Stargate alongside Louie Vega and Marco Carola. For the first time, Jamie xx is performing at Movement. He will be bringing his incredible sound to the Red Bull stage with the smooth and funky masters, Four Tet!
