Sander van Doorn, via his darker alter-ego Purple Haze, releases his latest record, ‘Strangers Thing’. It is out now and available through Doorn Records.
This track arrives just after Purple Haze’s hugely successful collab with Ferry Corsten titled ‘Flanging’. After amazing collabs like the one with KhoMha in ‘We Come In Peace’, Sander delivers straight power with ‘Stranger Things’. The 80s inspiration behind the song shines through during on the track and brings back great memories.
The piece repeats in structure, with the breakdown continuing the vocal samples but with a classic synth keys part. Clearly, the inspiration of the track it is a tribute to the Netflix original series, Stranger Things.
