Once again, it is a sad day for ravers as another annual event has been canceled. Due to restrictions made by the Balearic Government, Resistance Ibiza will not be returning to Privilege this summer. Event organizers made the sad announcement on the official website.
Every summer, thousands of people from around the world come to Ibiza for an unbelievable nightlife experience. However, due to the new world of the coronavirus, clubs have been forced to shut down in order to prevent the spread of the harmful illness. Although the White Isle is slowly starting to open its businesses, clubs and bars have been asked to remain closed; the Balearic Government has asked for their closure until a vaccine is found. Surely, once this news was announced, the fallen fate of Resistance Ibiza was sealed.
Fortunately, this will not be the end of Resistance Ibiza. The annual Privilege residency will return to the Spanish island in 2021. Make sure to stay tuned for more information on next year’s event.
