There’s nothing wrong about thinking of the good old days and music has the ability to bring back some great memories. In fact, Spotify has noticed a surge in numbers of people listening to ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s music. Time Capsule playlists will provide 50-tracks that will take you back in time.
Spotify’s Time Capsule Playlist will curate a customer playlist based on your past listening history, the country you live in, and age. For example, a user’s age will drastically change what songs are in their playlist. Still, the playlist will update over time with new tunes that will give your mind a refresh to the past. Who knows, you may even several old gems you’ve forgotten about.
Spotify has said that “This collection of songs is as personalized as your memories, and no two listeners have the same mix.” In addition, it’s stated that you’ll need to be a current Spotify user for the best results. New users will not have much of a listening history to refer back to. Regardless, the Time Capsule playlist could be exactly what we need to make it through the rest of 2020.
