It seems that there may be a festival taking place in 2020 after all. Event organizer Percept Live has announced that Sunburn Festival will be taking place for its 14th edition of the event.

Due to the current pandemic, festivals all around the world have been canceled to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In India, however, events and cultural happenings are beginning to re-emerge.

The three-day event will take place on December 27 – 29, 2020. There will be a limited capacity as well as social distancing measures and safety protocols. In addition, PODs will be implemented in designated areas all over the venue, a now-common method for hosting events. Guests will only be able to interact with family and friends inside these PODs.

Face masks will be required during entry and throughout the entirety of the event. Furthermore, regular thermal scanning, hand washing, and sanitizing procedures will be held at the event. You can few the full layout and safety protocols here.

For those unable to attend, the event will be live-streamed throughout the Sunburn Festival social media.
