Pioneer DJ has just released the DJM-S7, a new two-channel battle mixer. It’s similar to – and less expensive than – their S9 mixer, featuring many of the same features.
Capabilities of the DJM-S7
- Bluetooth connectivity – wirelessly directs audio to either channel
- Enables free use of Serato DJ Pro
- Hardware Unlock device for rekordbox
- Large load button
- 16 performance pads (8 per deck)
- 22 Beat FX from the DJM-S11
- Independent pad modes
- Magvel Fader Pro for stable crossfader performance
- Loop MIDI
Pioneer DJ’s website highlights more detailed descriptions of the mixer’s capabilities. The DJM-S7 will be available from the end of January up until March 2021. It is currently priced at $1399 USD.
