Awakenings is celebrating its 25th anniversary with not one, but two festivals in 2022. The world-renowned techno event will return for its Summer Festival on July 29th-31st, 2022. The festival will take place in Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands. After two years off, next year’s summer event will be the biggest yet. It’s exciting to know that it will have a brand new location, an added day to the lineup, and a camping option. This makes Awakenings the only three-day techno festival in the Netherlands, and the first multi-day techno festival in the Netherlands to host a campsite.
Awakenings Stages
Awakenings Summer Festival 2022 will host nine stages, a combination of open air areas and tents, and will make use of the adjacent lake. With an added day, Awakenings now has more room for music. This opens up the stage for more multiple sub-genres and young and upcoming talent tol be represented at the festival. For campers, there will be an additional schedule, jam-packed with surprises.
Awakenings Festival started as a single day event, and expanded to two days in 2014. But, we felt like there was still room for more, especially because the community had so much to say about missing a multiple day techno event here in the Netherlands. The lineup for Awakenings Summer Festival 2022 will be out at the end of January, along with the start of official ticket sales. Festival-goers will have the option to choose full-weekend tickets covering all three days, as well as a single day tickets. The campsite options will contain different levels, including tent camping, pre-set up tents, and luxury bungalows. You can pre-register to purchase tickets here.
