After instantly selling out the initial weekend of ‘Sundream Tulum,’ famed Australian trio RÜFÜS DU SOL and the iconic Papaya Playa Project have announced an additional weekend. The new ‘Opening Weekend’ will take place March 3-6 while the ‘Closing Weekend’ will occur March 10-13.
Fans will not want to miss the immersive, otherworldly experience RÜFÜS DU SOL has lined up. Attendees will be able to enjoy two performances from RÜFÜS, both live and a DJ set. Bob Moses (Club Set), All Day I Dream sorcerer Lee Burridsdge, Copehagen’s WhoMadeWho, Berlin melodic icon Jan Blomqvist and others will also be joining the fun.
In preparation for the emotive nights ahead, ticket holders can arrange an assortment of wellness programing, including yoga, breathwork, and meditation-practices RÜFÜS DU SOL themselves utilized during the writing process of their most recent album, ‘Surrender.’
The Papaya Playa Project, one of Tulum’s most famous hotels, melds hospitality, community, sustainability, art and culture together to serve as the perfect setting for this unique experience. Known for its beautiful beachfront villas and casitas, fine tuned culinary programming, and immersive wellness experiences, Papaya Playa Project also offers art installations, tour centers, beach clubs and more.
This announcement follows the release of their Surrender LP, three separate shows at the LA Banc of California for over 70,000 fans, a two night run at Red Rocks in August, headlining Austin City Limits, Outsidelands, III Points and Governor’s Ball, as well as performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with James Corden, proving the Australian trio are nowhere near slowing down.
Join RÜFÜS DU SOL and friends for a music-filled adventure under the moon and sun in one of the most magical places in the world. Tickets for the ‘Opening Weekend’ are on sale now.
