Carnage Announces Retirement, Sort Of

Never one to shy away from theatrics, Carnage made a splash on social media today. It all began last night when he tweeted that he “can’t do this sh*t anymore”.

Then today he posted a complete farewell post thanking his fans and summarizing all of his accomplishments. He closed it out by writing “-Carnage 2008-2022”.

But it wouldn’t be Carnage if it was really that simple. While Carnage might be retiring, we’re pretty sure that GORDO is picking up where Carnage left off. Since Carnage debuted his house-led alias, he has shifted his sound and his attention to the new project. As big room bass music and trap have fallen out of style, House and underground sounds have taken over. So Carnage might be over, but Gordo lives on.
