This years large number of votes gave nightlife enthusiasts a clearer picture than ever of the global club scene. Results, although similar to last year, show impressive growth in certain parts of the world that haven’t previously had as much representation on the poll. The Unites Arab Emirates, for one, made the chart this year for the first time ever with White Club in Dubai. Indonesia and Thailand both have several new venues on the chart as well. Ibiza continues to be a major player in the global nightlife scene and South America, particularly Brazil, continues to show impressive growth overall as a region. Most notably, for the first time in this poll’s history, the United States has the most ranked clubs on the list out of any other nation. The U.S.A. has a total of 16 ranked venues, including Hakkasan Las Vegas, Echostage Washington, Omnia Las Vegas, Exchange Los Angeles, and Space Miami to name a few.
