Talented Canadian pianist Tony Ann conducted an impressive cover for The Chainsmokers‘ latest song, “Paris“, but did not anticipate what would happen next. After Ann uploaded the cover on to his YouTube channel to share with his handful of followers, the duo of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall would discover it and needless to say, they were blown away by Ann’s performance. In fact, Taggart and Pall were so impressed, they decided to invite Ann to join them on their Memories Do Not Open Tour, which is set to kick off this spring.

This was not the first time Ann conducted a cover for The Chainsmokers.  As a matter of fact, it was Ann’s previous work that caught the attention of the duo, which led to their discovery of the Paris cover. You can find his piano covers of “Closer”, “All We Know”, and “Setting Fires” on his YouTube channel. The guys went on to share the impressive cover on their social media, leading to Ann doubling his Instagram followers overnight.

The Chainsmokers’ ‘Memories’ tour kicks off in April, with scheduled stops throughout North America. Each ticket purchased for the tour will include a copy of The Chainsmokers’ new album, which is scheduled to drop later this year. You can get your tickets for the tour here.
