It’s hard to pass up on two of the best experiences there is to offer: a music festival and a tropical vacation. What better way to experience them than when they’re combined? Envision Festival, Costa Rica’s premiere conscious gathering, has announced that it will return to the beautiful country for its 2018 event on February 21-25.

The festival, which lasts four days and offers a combination of electronic music, meditation and yoga, workshops, electronic music and more, aims to create an experience focused on shaping a conscious future with a united front. It’s a truly admirable mission. The event is centered around eight pillars: Education, Movement, Art, Ecobuild, Health, Community, Spirituality, and Permaculture. Stephen Brooks, one of the event co-founders, describes their reasoning as following:

“The eight pillars are designed first as a deep reflection of who we as the Envision founders are, and second what Envision is as an organization. We are here living in harmony with nature in Costa Rica and these pillars do not just define the festival, but the lives we strive to lead year round.

At its core, Envision is designed to emulate the permaculture community of our dreams. The pillars are the aspects of our lives we value the most, and would like to see become the backbone of the community we are building.  The heart of the venue is our Village green, where attendees can find local organic food, fair trade artisan crafts, education centers, herbal medicine workshops, and integrated family activities, we want them to ask themselves how they can design their lives to make this community a perpetual reality.

All of the pillars merged together creates a feeling. What Envision seeks to offer is a balanced option of what we value most.. It’s not a music festival, or a yoga festival, or a surf camp or an educational conference, but it is all of those things. We urge attendees to explore all these aspects.”
