Bassheads around the globe, rejoice! Excision has unleashed the second installment to his annual Lost Lands mix series. It’s a hefty two-hour mix filled with the latest and greatest in bass music. Alongside the mix comes the official compilation album as well.
Excision has been known as an eclectic song selector since 2008, when he released a mix for Shambhala Music Festival. Though he parted ways with Shambhala in 2017 to launch his own music festival, Lost Lands, the mixes haven’t stopped.
Over the past few years, Abel has leveled up his role in the bass music industry from a DJ and producer to a true tastemaker. In just its second year, Lost Lands has become the mecca for the entire bass music scene in the USA. This year’s festival was four days long and included some of the best of the best, including Flux Pavilion, Illenium, Jauz, Zomboy, and more.
