For the first time, Armin Van Buuren has taken the iconic A State Of Trance music festival to the West Coast. The Oakland Coliseum was host to ASOT 900. In which Aly & Fila, NWYR (W&W), MaRLo, Together (Ruben de Ronde & Rodg), & Fatum played to a full crowd.
As the blurring between trance, techno, & hardstyle continues; much of the night was filled with a mix of the three. Rodg & Sarah de Warrens’ ‘Fading’ touched both progressive techno & trance. Whereas Aly & Fila opened with techno before transitioning into the uplifting sound they are known for. Armin closed the night with a slew of new music to include some from the much anticipated GAIA album, ‘Moons Of Jupiter.’Â
Tomorrowland will host a night dedicated to ASOT during the second weekend of the event. However, those unfortunate to miss this historic moment can still hear the entire night from the Facebook live stream. You can see all the sets from this past weekend below.
