Yes, I know. ANOTHER postponement announcement, and it’s not even due to the virus per se. Bob Sinclar was forced to postpone his Cercle set. It was supposed to take place on top of the Arc de Triomphe in France and be very reminiscent of what DJ Snake did in the past.
Unfortunately, some press articles made it seem like this was going to be an in-person concert. On the contrary, this event should only have an online audience, due to safety reasons. The official statement reads: “We have decided, by mutual agreement with the artist, le Centre des monuments nationaux, authorities, and associations to postpone this charity performance to a later date.” The goal of this event was to raise funds for funds for Médecins Sans Frontières, Fondation de France and 101fund organizations. These organizations still need the money anyway, so it’s encouraged to donate while Cercle finds a new event date.
We hope that this Bob Sinclar event takes place soon. It’s an awesome idea with good intentions. When it does finally happen, do NOT go see it in-person. This set is meant for fans to enjoy at home. Read the full announcement down below.
