The Grammy Museum is launching COLLECTION:live, a new streaming service, later this month. For $2.99/month, or $29.99/year, you will be able to access performances, musician interviews, and museum archives. About 40 programs will be readily available from day one.
To start, a variety of content from artists including (but not limited to) Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, and Panic! At the Disco will be available. Moreover, on September 24th, weekly recordings will be added to the platform. Viewers can expect content to appear after the 24th from BTS, Tame Impala, The War and Treaty, and more every week.
City, state, and national restrictions have led to remote events worldwide. While COLLECTION:live was always a strategic objective of the Grammy Museum, the COVID-19 pandemic sped up the process. Michael Sticka, President of the Museum, notes:
