T.I. and The Chainsmokers have some beef? Not really, but T.I. really did punch Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers backstage. The duo ran into T.I. on August 17th. Drew was feeling himself and kissed T.I. on the cheek after hanging out for a bit. T.I. well, did not appreciate it. He proceeded to push Drew off and then gave him a punch to go with it. No bad marks and Drew’s pretty face is intact.
The story came to light after The Chainsmokers posted a Tik Tok about it. It is well worth the entire watch. They all are actually quite cool with each other now. Drew said it was his fault “he was feeling the vibes too hard.” T.I actually responded to the “altercation” and laughed it off:
“I think the most important thing to take away is afterwards, we had a drink, we took a shot, you dig? You know what I’m saying? And we moved on. You know, everybody left the party, had a good time. Like I said, love The Chainsmokers — not to get no sugar, though.”
