Finnish Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, has been under fire the past few weeks. Videos have surfaced of her partying with questionable actions being taken. This past week, another video took over the internet showing topless influencers kissing at a party at her home. Sanna had this to say about this incident:
“In my opinion, the picture is not appropriate…I apologize for it. That kind of a picture should not have been taken but otherwise, nothing extraordinary happened at the get-together.”
This leaked video came just days after the first video surfaced. The first one showed her dancing and partying causing backlash. She then took a voluntary drug test to clear her name. This test came back negative.
At age 36, she is one of the world’s youngest leaders. She commented that the latest controversial photo was taken during a private party with her friends at her Helsinki residence after a July music festival.
Finns are torn between having their PM be able to enjoy herself and others believing she is doing too much partying. The work hard, play hard mentality could be in effect here. But, also when you are in such a high position of authority, these videos aren’t the best to be going viral on TikTok. What do you think?
