The mastermind of hip hop is back with High Beams, RL Grime’s first EP off of Fools Gold Records. The EP consist of five brand new tracks that bring the best of his tweaked out hybrids of hip-hop and dance music. High Beams showcases nothing but the best of the RL Grime sound. “Pockets” offers an insane beginning to the EP that offers the dancehall snares  with rhythmic bass beats. “Shells” gives RL Grime’s take on a savage mixture of moombacore with hip-hop. “Secondary” is a monster hip-hop track that features LA rapstar Problem that is definitely worth the hear. “Cliq Cliq” offers a dirty bass line to a trap track, and “Heard Me” gives a definition to filthy to close off High Beams.
