For anyone who plans on attending Niagara Falls’ Canada Day parade, you will be in for a treat. Hometown hero Joel Zimmerman will not only be a part of the festivities, but he’s the parade’s grand marshal and will be receiving a key to the city! Unsurprisingly, the superstar producer will not be cutting any corners, as he’ll be riding in style in the Purrari. Although this will be no Gumball 3000, Deadmau5 will need to pull out all the stops to win over the Niagara Falls crowd. The city’s newspaper has not been kind to the local kid, which has resulted in some of the residents developing negative feelings towards him. It has even go so far that the mau5 himself has jumped in on the paper’s online comments. Unfortunately we will not be partying with deadmau5, but you should definitely check out our list of “13 Canadian Producers You Need to Familiarize Yourself With” as a way to celebrate Canada Day.
