Halloween weekend is shaping up to be epic for electronic music lovers in Southern California, as HARD and Insomniac are each holding two-day festivals with killer lineups.  A few days after HARD released its lineup, which includes the rare pairing of Eric Prydz vs. Deadmau5 on Saturday night, Insomniac’s Escape released its offerings for the weekend.  With an obvious and laudable effort to distinguish Escape from HARD DOTD, Escape’s lineup features a slew of big trance artists and techno acts, including two nights of Richie Hawtin presents ENTER.  Friday night headliner Tiesto will be accompanied by Dash Berlin, Aly & Fila b2b John O’Callaghan, Andrew Rayel, Simon Patterson, Paul van Dyk and a DJ set from Moby, among others.  On Saturday night, Insomniac’s headliners at Escape will be able to catch Avicii, Steve Angello, John Digweed, Damian Lazarus, Umek and more.
Insomniac’s Escape will take place Friday, October 31st, and Saturday, November 1st, at the NOS Events Center in San Bernadino, CA.  HARD Day of the Dead will happen on Saturday, November 1st, and Sunday, November 2nd, at Fairplex in Pomona, CA.  Since both festivals are selling one-day passes in addition to the standard two-day pass, anyone who is feeling ambitious or suffering from a serious case of FOMO could attend one of the festivals for three nights in a row.  Tickets for Escape are available here and tickets for HARD DOTD are available here.
