Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, DVBBS – Gold Skies (Tiesto Remix)
There is little doubt that Gold Skies was one of the unofficial anthems for the past summer. Released to much acclaim, the hit collaboration between Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, and DVBBS blew up the festival circuit. Recently Spinnin’ revealed that an upcoming remix package for the track would be released including the likes of DubVision, Overused, Ferreck Dawn and Redondo, and now, industry leader Tiesto. Tiesto first teased his “Gold Skies” remix of the track back in July during his Tomorrowland set. Only a few weeks later, the full track was played on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1. The remix itself is exactly what someone would expect from the Dutch producer. Bigger synths during the rise to create a more epic build and an exciting drop to make fans go nuts during a live set. In particular, Tiesto strays slightly towards the melbourne bounce style this time to give the track a bouncier and more aggressive drop than the original. Tiesto’s remix of “Gold Skies” will be released along with the rest of the package on September 8th through Spinnin’ Records.
