Steve Angello & Mako – Children of the Wild
Steve Angello has remained awfully quiet regarding the release of his debut studio album Wild Youth since he bought himself out of his deal with Columbia Records to pursue an independent album release. Finally, he has broken his silence, announcing via Instagram that his highly anticipated single ‘Children of the Wild’ featuring Mako will be in five days on June 1st—over 10 months after the first single release from the album, ‘Wasted Love.’
Angello has frequently been using ‘Children of the Wild’ as the final song in his sets, a fitting and emotional end to many festivals and shows where he is often the final performer. Die-hard Angello fans have been waiting for ‘Children of the Wild’ for what seems like ages now, and now they can finally breathe a sigh of relief that they will be able to enjoy the high quality version of this beautiful tune. [UPDATE 6/1] Steve Angello made huge news today with the release of his much-anticipated single, “Children of the Wild” featuring Mako. Timed to release in connection with International Children’s Day, the superstar DJ (and father) seeks to use the single to benefit the very voices that can be heard chanting throughout the song: the children. Angello has vowed that any profits he receives from the single will be donated to Save the Children and the Nepal Disaster Relief Fund. With an impressive single and an incredibly selfless and giving act, the Size mastermind is back in a big way.
