Henrix – Acid Rave Sex
Last year in the wake of some unfortunate incidents at Ultra 2014, Ultra Music Festival and dance music were under attack in Miami. The uproar at that time ended up becoming musical inspiration for Miami producer Henrix. He created the track ‘Acid Rave Sex’Â to encapsulate his feelings on the anti-rave warriors that we still find ourselves dealing with today. The track features a vocal which acts as a “raver’s manifesto,” and speaks to any fan of dance music who has found himself/herself unfairly criticized by authorities, employers, friends, or family because of their passion for the scene. The track, originally previewed by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on their Smash The House radio show, is finally being released today.
To accompany the release, Henrix is also treating one lucky raver and a guest to a VIP Las Vegas trip on June 27th. The prize includes flights, hotel, VIP guest list, and the chance to party with Henrix himself backstage in the greenroom of Daylight Las Vegas. Check out the track below, pick up your own copy at Beatport, and be sure to enter the contest here.
