Kill Paris Changes Name In Wake of French Terror Attacks

The horrible attacks in France by ISIS have affected the entire world this weekend. Often times it is said that the worst times bring out the best in people and the entire globe has come out in support of the French people. The terrorism has touched the dance music world too, as many of our favorite artists call France home. One artist has been touched in another way by the attacks, and his name happens to be Kill Paris.

In a heartfelt social media post, the producer explained that he chose the name after reading Romeo and Juliet and meant it as a satire against those who try to hold back creativity and love. Now however the name comes to have a whole new and horrible meaning, and Kill Paris is no more. The artist explains that he will henceforth be known as Chill Harris out of respect for the events of this weekend, and to make sure nobody gets the wrong idea about his moniker. It’s a powerful example of how these events are touching everybody around the world in one way or another, and how the world is extending its hand to help the suffering people in France.
