Even since deadmau5 finished his state-of-the-art home studio, he’s been uploading tracks like crazy. In fact, he couldn’t even take a break from producing when he embarked on his mau5trap bus tour, as the vehicle was equipped with an impressive setup. Earlier this week, Joel treated us with an amazing new song titled “4ware 01”. The tune is quintessential mau5 and I would be lying to you if I told you that I don’t have it on repeat. Now, deadmau5 has stepped away from his traditional style to experiment with some trap and twerk-inspired sounds (no, we’re not joking).
The Canadian has been known to play around with hip hop, but these works in progress are definitely different from previous examples. In typical deadmau5 fashion, his sense of humor can be seen in the titles, as Joel has named his latests projects “yoloswagbae”, “CthulhuTwerks” and “Name Your Track”.
