Australian duo Slumberjack is finally back after their last release “Enigma”. This time around, the guys have received a little help from Daniel Johns (Silverchair), who lends his vocals to “Open Fire” brought to you by Mad Decent and Onelove, the Australian imprint. The song kicks off with a soothing guitar riff which leads up to John’s equally smooth vocals. As the tune progresses, layers upon layers stack atop each other beautifully. There’s some stellar synth work going on in the drop, reminiscent of Rustie to me, but with a unique twist of course. Take a listen below and add this tune to your growing catalog of future bass, which is set to take over 2016 by the looks of it!
