Deadmau5 is well-known for one of his most epic stage setups: the cube stage. Well, the stage is making its way back – but this time, bigger and better.
The artist presented prototypes for cube V2 via Instagram yesterday in VR, calling it “the coolest shit in the world.” He is building it via Unreal Engine, a software program often used with video games like Gears of War and DmC: Devil May Cry. The software can also be used for VR design and construction in ways such as how Deadmau5 is using it here.

Though there has not been an official release date for this stage design, he has tweeted about its timeline and we can most likely expect it post- Spring Awakening.
