As a part of the Detroit Techno Week celebration this Memorial Day Weekend, some of the biggest techno acts from around the world got together to headline Movement Detroit 2017. One of the most anticipated performances of the weekend belongs to the debut of deadmau5′ alias Testpilot. The Testpilot performance definitely lived up to the hype, but unfortunately, it did not come without a few complications such as rain delay and lighting spotting which led to long pauses throughout his set. Joel then proceed to do the most “deadmau5” thing possible by getting on the mic to crack a few jokes and talk some trash about the industry. Zimmerman has since promised his fans that he will re-record the set and air it on his next BBC Radio 1 residency show so that they can enjoy the set in full.
Damn. Thanks everyone for hanging in there with me during that disaster. I thought I was going to get crucified for sure. I’ll make it up 😉

It’s all just basic shit luck. Bad weather. Rain. Fucked the whole deal up. Thanks for understanding and letting me redo a couple times.
