Mother Nature Schools Everyone On Definition of Irony
2017 just keeps getting more and more ironic. With both the the political and global climate seemingly aligned in mutual turmoil, Mother Nature once again seems to be toying with us.
A massive storm moved in during Sunday’s festivities at Storm Festival Shanghai, which forced festival organizers to prematurely shut the party down. Torrential flooding conditions made it nearly impossible to continue with the day’s events and left organizers in damage control, shifting focus on salvaging electrical equipment.
Headliners Axwell Λ Ingrosso and The Chemical Brothers were forced to cut their sets short and headed to social media to offer their apologies to fans.
Ironically enough, prior to the cancellation, the festival’s social media was making use of the hashtags #STORMSHANGHAI #STORMISCOMING#STORM2017. Eerie.
