Snapchat Story Usage is Down 33% Thanks to Instagram

Around a year ago Instagram was the first to copy Snapchat’s “Stories” feature which allows you to make a story of consecutive videos to post to the app. Instagram’s connection with Facebook and its larger userbase began eroding into Snapchat’s marketshare. Now Snapchat’s use of stories is down by 33% and Instagram Stories continues to go up.

Instagram isn’t just for posting modeling or food photos anymore. It is now a workplace for people an where many go to advertise products an services. Some people are paid thousands of dollars per post they make on the app. The company Mediakix produced an infographic comparing the two apps which you can check out below.
